Week 3

This project has been quite interesting for me, as for mother nature has been riding a crazy roller coaster that just doesn't seem to come to a stop. It's been difficult to transfer my planting pot in and out of the house due to the rain, snow, and whatever else this weather has to offer. With work and school it's been difficult making sure the plants are getting the right amount of light they need, which has been one of the main concerns I was worried about when deciding to choose this project.

Another concern I am worried about is the growth process. It takes approximately about 3 to 4 months for the plants to mature and develop. I am accepting the fact that growth may not be apparent when this project comes to an end, however, they should be ready to go by the start of summer and that is the best season for bees.

Although I have ran into some slumps, it doesn't stop me from feeling very confident with how they will turn out. My friend has a huge sunflower garden in his back yard and the amount of bees he has is truly amazing. Even though I am growing only a few, I hope it attracts lots of bees. Knowing I am saving the bees lives is what I feel is most important and this is something I really hope turns out before summer!
