I did some research and found out that synthetic liquid fertilizer is the most efficient for sunflowers or they grow just as much as they would be using synthetic liquid but also no fertilizer is just as good. I went to Walmart and bought a few packages of Annual Sunflower Garden Seeds.
Some problems I had were that the weather has been nothing but rain and very little sunshine. With this, it is nearly impossible to get anything started. However, luckily my parents have a workshop area downstairs and has a few LED lights. With this, I was able to plant the flowers and keep them underneath the LED lights to get some light. I planted the seeds on Saturday, March 24th. I water the plants one time a day and move the flowers when there is sunshine out. My goal is to notice a little bud popping in the next few weeks, so, I know that I am reaching part of my goal.
